Right is a five-window light box for the display of five, separate, landscape-format aquarium labels or similar graphics, each 270mm wide x 180mm high

Light boxes are of aluminium construction, can be finished in virtually any selected colour and are fitted with standard fluorescent tubes that can be easily and inexpensively replaced when necessary. Labels can be displayed either side by side (horizontal boxes) or one above the other (vertical boxes).

Whether displaying the graphics in a horizontal or vertical row, light boxes can have from one to five separate display windows, each with a tough, clear polycarbonate panel that protects the graphic from external mistreatment. Boxes can be fixed flat to a wall, or at an angle using angled wall brackets, or can be recessed behind a fascia with just the front panel visible.

The front panel of the light box is easily removed and the graphic display placed quickly and securely in position behind the polycarbonate window. The graphic itself might include one or more images, common and scientific names, a map, logo, and text with information on the animal or plant on exhibit.

Light boxes are also available with portrait-format display windows, together with matching graphics.

Above is a four-window, horizontal label light box with landscape-format aquarium labels displayed side by side. Below is the same light box, but within a darkened area as would pertain in a public aquarium - in these conditions the light box itself becomes largely invisible.
